Interesting fact

The Obol coin , which features Athena Alkidemos on one side and a Boii symbol on the other, was used as a form of currency in ancient Thrace, specifically in the region of Boii. The coin was made of silver and weighed approximately 0.97 grams. It's interesting to note that the Boii people were a Thracian tribe that lived in the region now known as Bulgaria, and their symbol on the coin represents their cultural identity.
