Comment
Struck before 1541 (cf. BNSFN publication, March 1992): Arnaud Clairand has identified five main types, based on a study of 108 liards of Henri d'Albret. They predate 1541, as they feature a cross pattée (BSFN March 1992, p. 271-274). The next three types with the full bored cross were certainly struck between 1541 and 1555, the date of Henri d'Albret's death.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design element - a small cross pattée (a cross with arms that are narrow at the center and broaden towards the ends) on the reverse side, which was a distinctive feature of the coins minted during Henry I of Albret's reign.
