Interesting fact
The Kreuzer coin from the City of Bern, made of Billon and weighing 1.47g, is interesting because it was used as a means of payment during a time of great economic change in Europe. The coin was introduced during the reign of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II and was used widely in trade and commerce throughout the region. Despite its small size and relatively low value, the Kreuzer was an important part of the economy and played a significant role in the financial transactions of the time.
