Interesting fact
The Kopeck coin , which was issued during the reign of Mikhail I (also known as Michael I) of the Russian Empire, features an image of the emperor on horseback on its obverse side. This design was a departure from the traditional Orthodox Christian imagery that had been featured on previous Russian coins, and was seen as a symbol of the empire's growing secularization and Westernization.
