Interesting fact
The Kopeck coin , which was minted during the reign of Mikhail I (also known as Michael Romanov) in the early 17th century, features an image of the Russian tsar on one side and an image of the Moscow coat of arms on the other. The Moscow coat of arms features a representation of St. George slaying a dragon, which was a symbol of the city of Moscow and the Russian Empire at the time. This imagery was meant to convey the power and strength of the Russian monarchy and its association with the Orthodox Church.
