Interesting fact
The Hexadrachm coin from Boii was used as a form of currency in ancient India, specifically in the region that is now modern-day Gujarat. It was a widely used denomination and was often used for large transactions, such as buying livestock or paying taxes. The coin's design featured an image of a king or a deity on one side and a symbol or an animal on the other. The use of these coins dates back to the 4th century BCE and they remained in circulation until the 1st century CE.
