Interesting fact
The Hemidrachm coin from Phlious (Phliasia) features a unique combination of two different animal symbols on its obverse and reverse sides. The obverse side features a stag's head, while the reverse side features a dolphin. This combination of land and sea animals may have been intended to symbolize the connection between the land and sea and the importance of trade and commerce in the region.
