Interesting fact
The Hemidrachm coin from Myrhina (Aeolis) was used as a form of currency in ancient Greece and its design was inspired by the goddess Athena. The obverse side of the coin features the image of Athena wearing a helmet and carrying a spear, while the reverse side depicts a quadriga (a chariot pulled by four horses) and a driver. The coin's design was meant to symbolize the city's wealth and prosperity, as well as its connection to the powerful goddess Athena.
