In 1507 Emperor Maximilian I, in his capacity as king of Bohemia, granted Ulrich the right to mint money. Beside the county's coat of arms, the Hardegg family crest was embossed into coins minted at the Mint at Glatz.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Heller - Ulrich of Hardegg ND (1508-1524) coin from County of Glatz (Glatz, Silesia) made of Billon is that it features a unique combination of symbols and letters on its reverse side. The coin bears the image of a shield with the letters "G" and "H" on either side, representing the County of Glatz and the House of Hardegg, respectively. Additionally, the coin features a crescent moon and a star above the shield, which were symbols commonly used in medieval heraldry to represent the Christian faith and the hope of a bright future. This combination of symbols and letters makes the coin a fascinating piece of history and a valuable collector's item for numismatists interested in the region and time period.
