Interesting fact
The Heller ND (1410-1431) coin was used as a means of payment in the city of Bytom (Silesia) during the 15th century. It was made of silver, which was a valuable and widely accepted metal at the time. The coin features an image of the city's patron saint, St. Barbara, on one side and the coat of arms of Bytom on the other. The coin was minted during the reign of King Władysław II Jagiełło of Poland, who ruled from 1386 to 1434. Despite being over 600 years old, some of these coins are still in circulation among collectors today, making them a rare and valuable piece of history.
