Comment
Minted in half of 15th century.Interesting fact
The Heller ND (1450) coin was minted during the reign of King Ladislaus III of Poland, who ruled from 1434 to 1444. The coin features the king's name and title in Latin, "LADISLAUS DEI GRACIA REX POLONIE" (Ladislaus, by the grace of God, King of Poland), and on the reverse side, it has the image of the Polish eagle. The use of silver in the coin's minting was a significant departure from the previous coins that were made of copper or billon (a silver-copper alloy). This change in material was likely due to the abundance of silver in the region and the desire to create a coin that was more valuable and durable. The Heller ND (1450) coin is a rare and valuable collector's item, and its unique features make it an important part of numismatic history.
