Interesting fact
The Pattern Grosz koronny was a proposed coinage system that was never implemented, and the 1765 coin is one of the few surviving examples of this proposed currency. It was designed to replace the existing currency, the Polish-Lithuanian złoty, and was intended to be used throughout the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Despite its rarity and historical significance, the coin is still made of copper, which was a common material for coins at the time.
