Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Grosso Aquilino - Bailardino of Nogarole ND (1320-1329) coin is that it features a unique design on its reverse side. Instead of the usual depiction of a saint or a coat of arms, this coin features a stylized representation of an eagle, which was the symbol of the Nogarole family, who were the rulers of the city of Vicenza at the time. This design element sets the coin apart from other coins of the same era and makes it a distinctive piece of numismatic history.
