Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Gold Écu "Klinkaart" coin is that it was minted during the reign of Philip the Good, who was the Duke of Burgundy and Count of Flanders from 1419 to 1467. This coin was issued during a time of great economic and cultural prosperity in the region, and its design features the image of Philip the Good on one side and the coat of arms of the County of Flanders on the other. The use of gold in the coin's minting was a symbol of the region's wealth and power, and the coin's unique design has made it a popular collector's item among numismatists.
