One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during the reign of Uljaytu Khan, also known as Muhammad Khodabandeh, who was the eighth Mongol Emperor and the first Mongol Shah of Persia. He ruled the Ilkhanate Empire from 1304 to 1316, and his coinage, including this Fals, was minted during his reign.
