Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during the reign of Al-Muzaffar Hajji I, who was the Sultan of the Mamluk Sultanate, a powerful state that ruled over much of the Middle East and North Africa during the 14th century. Despite being made of copper, this coin was still considered a standard circulation coin and was widely used in trade and commerce during its time.
