Interesting fact
The Drachm coin , which was issued during the reign of Philip V of Macedon (221-179 BC), features an image of Alexander the Great's father, King Philip II, on one side, and an image of a youthful Alexander the Great on the other. This coin was minted during a time when Alexander III (also known as Alexander the Great) was still alive, and it's believed that the image of Alexander on the coin was meant to symbolize the passing of power from Philip II to his son, who would go on to become one of the greatest conquerors in history.
