Head of Aphrodite to right, wearing pearl necklace and with her hair falling down the back of her neck and tied at the end; all within incuse square.
Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a stylized image of a lion's head, while the reverse (back) side features an incuse (indented) image of a bull's head. This design was a common motif in ancient Greek coinage and symbolized the power and strength of the issuing city-state.
