Interesting fact
The Drachm coin from Gergis (Troad) was used as a form of currency in ancient Greece, specifically in the city-state of Troy. It features an image of the goddess Athena on one side and an owl on the other, which was a symbol of wisdom and intelligence. The coin was made of silver and weighed 3.63 grams, which was a significant amount for a coin at that time. Despite being over 2,000 years old, some of these coins have survived to this day and are highly prized by collectors and historians.
