The interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Uzbek, who was the last ruler of the Golden Horde to issue coins in the name of the Abbasid caliphs. This coin, in particular, was minted in the city of Qrim (modern-day Crimea) and features the name of the caliph Al-Mu'tasim on one side and the name of the sultan and the date on the other. This coin is a rare example of the coins issued during this period and is highly sought after by collectors.
