Al-Qasim Guennoun ibn Ibrahim (Arabic: القاسم كنون بن إبراهيم‎ al-Qāsim Kanūn bin Ibrāhīm) was the eleventh Idrisid ruler and sultan of Morocco. He took over after the Fatimid overlordship by Ubayd Allah al-Mahdi Billah in 937 until his death in 948.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was issued during the reign of Al Qasim Guennoun, who was the Fatimid Overlord of the Idrisid dynasty, and it features his name and title on one side, while the other side features the Islamic declaration of faith. This coin is a rare example of a Fatimid coin that was issued in the name of an Idrisid ruler, highlighting the complex political and religious relationships between the two dynasties during that time.
