Interesting fact
The Diobol coin was used as a form of currency during the reign of Perdiccas III, who was the king of Macedonia from 365 BC to 360 BC. Despite being made of silver, the Diobol coin was not worth a significant amount, with its value being equivalent to about 1/4 of a drachma, which was the standard unit of currency at the time. Despite its relatively low value, the Diobol coin was still widely used in everyday transactions and played an important role in the economy of ancient Macedonia.
