Comment
Otho ruled for just a few months. The mint of Alexandria struck coins with his name, though the portrait bears little resemblance to those of the other mints. It is possible that Alexandria produced coins without having an image of the new emperor.

Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Diobol - Otho (LA) (69) coin from Alexandria (Egypt) is that it features an image of the Roman Emperor Otho, who ruled from 69 AD, on one side, and the goddess Roma on the other. This coin was part of a series of coins issued during Otho's reign to promote the Roman Empire's power and influence in Egypt. Despite being made of bronze, this coin is considered a rare and valuable collector's item among numismatists today.
