Comment
This well-made modern forgery appeared around 2010. It was first posted online by CoinIndia (CoinIndia.com) but was later determined to be a cast fake. See comments on Zeno.ru (81629) as well as CoinIndia's own website where they call it a “fantasy gold version”.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it is a forgery, meaning it is a counterfeit coin created with the intention of deceiving people into believing it is authentic. Despite being a forgery, the coin still has historical and cultural significance, as it was created during the Kabul Shahi Dynasties, which was a powerful empire that ruled over much of the Indian subcontinent and Central Asia during the 9th to 10th centuries. The coin's design, weight, and material (gold) also provide valuable insights into the economic and monetary systems of the time.
