Weight is highly variable, with recently auctioned specimens generally in the range 3 - 5.5 grams, most usually 3.3 - 4 grams.  

On almost all known specimens the date is partially or wholly off-planchet.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of Genghis Khan, the founder of the Mongol Empire, on one side, and an image of a dragon on the other. The dragon symbolizes power and strength, which were key characteristics of Genghis Khan's leadership and the Mongol Empire's expansion.
