Interesting fact

The Didrachm coin , which was used by the Dacians of Moldavia, features a unique design element - a horse's head on the obverse (front side) of the coin. This design was inspired by the Sarmatian culture, which was a nomadic people who lived in the steppes of Eastern Europe and were known for their horse breeding and riding skills. The use of this design element on the coin suggests that the Dacians of Moldavia had strong cultural ties with the Sarmatians and valued their equestrian traditions.
