Interesting fact
The Didrachm - Nikos coin features a unique combination of two different animal symbols on its obverse and reverse sides. The obverse side depicts a lion's head, while the reverse side features a dolphin. This combination of a land animal and a sea creature may have been intended to represent the island of Naxos' strategic location in the Aegean Sea, as well as its connection to the Greek mainland.
