Interesting fact
The Didrachm from Tenedos (Troad) was one of the first coins to feature an image of a deity. The obverse side of the coin depicts a bearded Apollo, while the reverse side shows a lyre, which was an instrument associated with the god. This coin was issued during a time when the worship of Apollo was becoming increasingly popular in the ancient Greek world.
