Comment

A counterpart to the dove mark can also be found on the 1610 dicken of Uri. Die cutter names for this mark have not been passed down. It may be related to mint master Caspar Melchior Studer, who completed his apprenticeship under former mint master Meussberger in Lucerne, then worked at the Altdorf mint and moved back to Lucerne on 30 September 1608.
