Interesting fact
The Dichalkon coin was used in ancient Greece during the Hellenistic period and was equivalent to two Chalks, which is where it gets its name. It was widely used in trade and commerce, and its value was equivalent to about 1/4 of a drachma, which was the standard unit of currency at the time.
