This denier is an imitation of the Lyonnais deniers with the legend PRIMA SEDES, here replaced by PRINCIPES (see link). It can be attributed to the Baux family (which administered the Principality of Orange from 1173 to 1393) or possibly to that of Chalon (from 1393 to 1531).
