One interesting fact about the Denier - Vratislaus II ND (1061-1085) from Kingdom of Bohemia made of Billon is that it features a unique blend of Christian and pagan elements in its design. The obverse side of the coin depicts a cross, which symbolizes Christianity, while the reverse side features a stylized image of a tree, which was a common motif in pre-Christian Slavic mythology.
