Comment

Morrison and Grunthal give the coin to Le Talou (Seine maritime), a pagus which is already mentioned in the Merovingian period and had a monastery (which will form part of the County of Arques around 1030), while Depeyrot gives an attribution to Tilly (Eure).

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a rare image of King Charles II on horseback, which was not a common design element on coins during that time period.
