Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during the reign of Vasily Demitryvich Kirdyapa, who was the prince of Nizhny Novgorod-Suzdal from 1388 to 1392. This was a time of great political and economic change in the region, as the Principality of Nizhny Novgorod-Suzdal was one of the most powerful and influential states in medieval Russia. The coin's silver content and relatively low weight also suggest that it was intended for everyday use by ordinary people, rather than being a high-value coin reserved for the wealthy elite.
