Comment

The Borisovich brothers returned to Nizhniy Novgorod and Suzdal in 1423. Daniil Borisovich
occupied the Grand Ducal throne, while his younger brother received Suzdal, which he ruled
jointly with his son Alexander (Trostyansky 2009, page 20).

You can find the description and photos of the variants at the book Early Russian Coins, 1353-1533 by D. Huletski, K. Petrunin, A. Fishman (2015) page 232-233

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during the second reign of Daniil Borisovich, who was the Grand Prince of Nizhny Novgorod-Suzdal from 1423 to 1429. This was a time of great political and economic change in the region, as the Principality was facing challenges from neighboring states and struggling to maintain its independence. Despite these challenges, the minting of this coin suggests that the Principality was still capable of producing currency and maintaining some level of economic stability.
