Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of Jupiter, the Roman god of thunder and lightning, on one side, and a portrait of Quintus Pomponius Rufus, a Roman politician and military leader, on the other. This coin was minted during a time of political and social upheaval in Rome, and the image of Jupiter may have been intended to symbolize the power and authority of the Roman state.
