Interesting fact
The Denarius - Macrinus coin was issued during the reign of Emperor Macrinus, who was the first Roman Emperor to be born in Africa. He was born in 165 AD in the province of Mauretania, which is now modern-day Morocco. Despite his African origins, Macrinus was able to rise to power and become Emperor of Rome, which speaks to the diverse and inclusive nature of the Roman Empire at the time.
