Comment
This coin refers to Marcus Aemilius Lepidus who was part of the Second Triumvirate with Octavius and Marcus Antonius; and whose son Marcus Aemilius Lepidus Minor was executed by the same Octavius after conspiring against him.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features the image of Lepidus, who was a prominent Roman statesman and military leader, on one side, and Julius Caesar, who was the Roman dictator at the time, on the other. This coin was minted during a time of political turmoil in Rome, and the inclusion of both Lepidus and Caesar's images may have been a way to promote unity and stability in the Roman Republic.
