Interesting fact

The Denarius - Hadrian (NILVS; Nilus) coin was issued during the reign of Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD) and features an image of the emperor on one side and the goddess Nilus (Nilus) on the other. The coin was minted in Rome and was used as a standard circulation coin throughout the Roman Empire. The fact that it was made of silver and weighs 3.2 grams suggests that it was a relatively valuable coin at the time, and its design and imagery would have been carefully chosen to reflect the values and ideals of the Roman Empire.
