Interesting fact
The Denarius coin was used during the Roman Republic and features the image of Roma, the personification of Rome, on one side and the letters "GR" on the other, which stand for "Gens Romana" or "Roman People." It's interesting to note that the Denarius was the main currency used during this time period and was made of silver, which gave it a high value and made it a popular trade currency throughout the Roman Empire.
