Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a portrait of Emperor Geta, who was known for his rivalry with his brother and co-emperor, Caracalla. Despite their differences, the two brothers were forced to rule together by their father, Septimius Severus, and their coins were minted with joint portraits. This coin, however, features Geta alone, indicating that it was minted during a period of time when he had asserted his independence from Caracalla.
