Interesting fact

The Denarius - Galba coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Galba, who ruled the Roman Empire from 68 to 69 AD. It's interesting to note that Galba was the first emperor to issue coins with a portrait of himself, which was a departure from the traditional Roman coinage that featured images of gods and goddesses. This coin, in particular, features a portrait of Galba on the obverse (front side) and a depiction of the goddess Hispania on the reverse (back side), highlighting the emperor's connection to the Roman province of Hispania (present-day Spain and Portugal).
