Interesting fact
The Denarius (FIDES PRAETORIANORVM) coin was issued during the reign of Emperor Vitellius in 68-69 AD and features an image of the Roman goddess Fides (Fidelity) on the obverse side, which is unusual for a Roman coin. Fides was a minor goddess who personified the idea of loyalty and fidelity, and her appearance on the coin may have been intended to promote the idea of loyalty to the Roman state and its rulers.
