The Cistophorus - Trajan coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Trajan (98-117 AD) and features an image of the goddess Diana on the reverse side. The coin was used as a means of payment and circulated throughout the Roman Empire. Despite its age, many of these coins have survived to this day and are highly sought after by collectors and historians. In fact, some examples of this coin have been sold at auction for thousands of dollars!
