Interesting fact

The Cistophorus - Caracalla coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Caracalla, who ruled the Roman Empire from 198 to 217 AD. The coin's design features the goddess Victory (Victoria) on the obverse (front side), and a cista (a ritual container) surrounded by a wreath on the reverse (back side). The coin was made of silver and had a relatively large diameter of about 24 mm. Despite its age, many of these coins have survived to this day and are highly sought after by collectors due to their historical significance and aesthetic appeal.
