Interesting fact
The Chalkon coin was used in ancient Thessaly, a region in central Greece, and features a unique design. On one side, it depicts a horse's head, while on the other, it shows a wheel with eight spokes. This design was meant to symbolize the eight tribes of Thessaly, and the wheel represented the wheel of life. The coin's design was meant to signify the importance of unity and cooperation among the different tribes in the region.
