Comment
According to CGB, this type of bronze would belong to the aulerci series, but it is nevertheless classified in volume I of the New Atlas among the ambiani coins; its authors nevertheless specify that "the rare known provenances do not allow us to affirm that this variety belongs to the common background of the ambiani".Interesting fact
The coin features a unique combination of symbols, including a boar, twig, and horse, which were likely chosen for their cultural or religious significance to the Ambiani people. The boar, for example, was a symbol of strength and bravery, while the twig may have represented fertility or prosperity. The horse, on the other hand, was often associated with speed, power, and mobility. The combination of these symbols on the coin may have been intended to convey a message about the values or beliefs of the Ambiani people.
