Interesting fact
The Biunx coin was used as a form of currency in the ancient Roman city of Luceria, which is now modern-day Lecce in Apulia, Italy. Despite being made of bronze, the Biunx coin was considered a valuable form of currency during its time, with a value equivalent to 200 litres of wheat or 100 litres of wine. Its value was also equivalent to 1/40th of a Roman pound, which was a significant amount during that era.
