Exacerbated by the arrival of Commodore Perry and the opening up of Japan to the West, the economic problems continued, and resulted in the issue of the smaller, debased oban.
伊宇き and 恒宇吉 marks was only minted roughly one month before switching to Noshime type. After about 15 months, they swithed back to Taganeme, but the marks changed to 吉宇き and 吉安大.
