The Aureus - Trajan (AVGVSTI PROFECTIO) (114) coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Trajan in the 2nd century AD and features an image of the emperor on one side and the goddess Victory on the other. The coin was used as a means of payment and was considered a high-value denomination at the time, equivalent to 25 silver denarii. Despite its age, some of these coins have survived the test of time and are highly sought after by collectors and historians today.
